Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MatchYourBusinessModel (mymodel.business) is part of the same team behind Peaky Finance. For any privacy request, contact us via the email link on the site or the subscribe form below, or reply to any MyModel newsletter email.

2. Your canvas idea, sent to AI providers

When you use the ✨ AI-assist button to generate canvas fields, your idea text is sent to an AI provider to produce the suggested content:

On Chrome desktop: generation runs on-device via Google Gemini Nano, built into the browser. In this mode your idea never leaves your browser and is not sent to us or to any server.

On non-Chromium browsers (Firefox, Safari) or when on-device AI is unavailable: your idea is sent through our serverless proxy (/api/generate) to a cloud AI provider — currently Google Gemini or OpenRouter, depending on configuration. The proxy exists so our API key never ships to your browser; it forwards your text to the provider and returns the result. We do not log or store your idea text server-side beyond what's needed to serve the request, but the AI provider processes it under its own privacy policy and retention rules (see Google Gemini terms / OpenRouter privacy).

Do not submit sensitive personal data, trade secrets you're not comfortable sharing with a third-party AI provider, or anyone else's personal information in your idea text.

3. Email (MailerLite)

If you subscribe via the email form, your email address is stored by our email provider, MailerLite (account 2460241, form STWqGZ), to send you product updates. We use it only for that, and never sell or rent it. You can unsubscribe via the link in any email we send, or ask us to delete it.

4. Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics: cookieless, aggregate page-view data. No persistent identifier, no cross-site tracking.

5. Local storage

Your canvas draft and language preference are stored in your browser's localStorage. They stay on your device and are not transmitted to us, except for the idea text explicitly sent for AI generation as described in §2.

6. Legal basis & your rights (GDPR)

Email processing runs on consent (you opt in via the form); analytics on legitimate interest. AI processing runs on consent, implied by your use of the ✨ button, you can always fill the canvas manually instead. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
