1. Not business, financial or legal advice
Canvas fields generated via the ✨ AI-assist button (revenue streams, pricing, target segments, etc.) are AI-generated drafts based on the idea you typed in. They are not verified business, financial, legal or tax advice, and they are not tailored to your actual market, jurisdiction or numbers. Treat every field as a hypothesis to research and validate yourself, not a plan to execute as-is.
2. Where your idea goes, exactly
On Chrome desktop: your idea is processed entirely on your device by Google Gemini Nano, built into the browser. Nothing leaves your browser in this mode.
On any other browser, or if on-device AI is unavailable: your idea text is sent to our serverless proxy and forwarded to a cloud AI provider (currently Google Gemini or OpenRouter) to generate a response. This is not on-device processing, your text leaves your browser and is processed by that third party under its own terms.
You can always skip AI assist and fill the canvas fully by hand, nothing is ever sent anywhere in that case.
3. No training, no selling
We do not use your idea to train our own models, and we do not sell or share it with anyone beyond what's needed to generate the AI response (the AI provider itself). See the Privacy Policy for full detail on data handling and retention.
4. Your responsibility
You decide what to do with the generated canvas. Verify numbers, market claims and legal requirements independently, ideally with a professional in your jurisdiction, before acting on them.
